Saba, Founder and CEO of ValueRx Consulting, is a seasoned clinician, strategic leader, and lifelong learner driving transformation at the intersection of healthcare services, value-based care, and cutting-edge technology. She's a mom, a woman of color, and a relentless advocate. Navigating the unique challenges of raising a special needs child while building a successful career has instilled in her a deep understanding of resilience, empathy, and the power of perseverance. These values are the cornerstone of ValueRx Consulting, where she empowers pharmacy professionals to achieve their full potential and guides organizations toward value-driven healthcare solutions.
As a hiring manager, Saba has built teams from the ground up, personally reviewing over 1,000 resumes, conducting 100+ interviews, and successfully hiring 50+ individuals. She is incredibly proud that every person who directly reported to her during her tenure at VillageMD building out her team was promoted into their next desired roles. This experience gives her unique insights into talent acquisition and career development. She is passionate about career development, learning, and growth.
With over 16 years of diverse experience, including developing and launching clinical service lines at healthcare technology and value-based primary care start-ups, Saba brings a wealth of expertise in areas like value-based care operations, data analytics, and AI. She understands what it's like to be on the other side, applying for new roles and transitioning into new organizations. Her career journey spans eight distinct pharmacy organizations, including five managed care organizations, two value-based primary care organizations, and two community pharmacy settings, demonstrating her adaptability and comprehensive understanding of the pharmacy landscape, including four different start-ups. She has mentored future pharmacy leaders through her role as a Residency Program Director for a PGY2 pharmacy residency in population health and data analytics. Saba's mission is to create a more equitable and effective healthcare landscape, one career and one organization at a time.
